DREW'S STORY
The way I like to live my life closely resembles the work I do. Live simply and cherish the memories made from experiences. I like to apply the same principles to the furniture and woodworking projects I take on. Move forward humbly and learn from the challenges. The furniture I create has a lot of living to do as well, instilling memories from all the conversations surrounding it, or perhaps the adventures had utilizing it.
From the moment I accept a new project, my whole self is embodied in that project. Every detail must be fluid and with purpose, or it is not meant to be. This often makes for a bittersweet moment upon completion because of the bond that is formed in creating each project. To further strengthen that connection, I strive to only utilize materials available at a local level in order to minimize both cost and carbon footprint. I feel strongly about everything I create, which is why my brand is on most everything (in an inconspicuous place) coming out of my shop.
